Have you got any ideas or processes to share that you have found to make life easier/smoother when planning for individual needs within the setting?

I use sheets supplied by my early years support officer she gave me some samples then i adapted them to suit my setting. Can copy and email some if this would help

Hi Ali, i’m a childminder struggling with planning and would appreciate copies of sheets you use.

    many thanks, Carol.

I find it is easier to just concentrate on just one or two goals per child per term, otherwise it all just gets too complicated. This approach is easy to communicate to parents and so they are more likely to join in and working in partnership with them means the goals are easier to achieve. Ofsted seemed quite happy with this approach when we were last inspected.
